Chez Henri to host Biodynamic Wine Dinner
On Wednesday, June 21st , Chez Henri will be hosting its first ever Biodynamic Wine Dinner. Wine Director Scott Holliday will lead a discussion and tasting centered around five biodynamic wines, the wineries they come from and the philosophy of the winemakers. Accompanying the wine will be a five-course dinner menu from Chef Paul O'Connell that utilizes biodynamic technique and locally grown and raised foods. The menu is $75 per person for five courses and includes the wines and such dishes as biodynamic Goat Cheese Tarts with Locally Forested Mushrooms, Handmade Pasta with Wild Salmon and Spring Peas, and Vermont Spring Lamb with Green Garlic. Paul recently taped a piece with the TV news magazine show Chronicle. The episode will be about the "iPod nation" Paul was filmed talking about his iPod in his chef whites and how it has transformed his life... and how he uses it at the restaurant. Look for the episode to air around the second week of February. |
